Building Team

Let's talk team.

Last week was a bit of a whirlwind.

There is value in being vulnerable with your audience, so that's what we are going to do today.

As the business grows, personal life still goes on.

About a week and a half ago, my body decided to give me a warning in the form of anxiety and an intense panic attack. And if you've experienced this before, you know how easily it can throw you for a loop.

I was burning out on a few fronts, and my intuition knew it. So my body FORCED me to slow down and take 5.

But what does this do for business?

It made things even worse for me. Because I didn't feel prepared in taking a few days off for mental health. I didn't feel that my clients could be taken care of while I was resetting.

This is where team comes in.

Luckily, my assistant helped me stay on top of my social media and answer any pressing emails.

But still, my clients had to take a couple days off with me, inevitably, because I wasn't prepared.

So after getting out of this funk, I realized it was time to level up. Again.

I discussed with my assistant how we can work even more closely together, how she can help me with my existing and new clients, and how we can work together to make sure nothing gets missed, regardless of personal circumstances.

Life happens, yes. We are human and part of the beauty of working with us is we understand that things don't always pan out perfectly.

However, when you have a support system behind you in your business, it will allow you MORE time off, MORE time to scale, MORE brain capacity to do what you really LOVE.

Last week taught me some invaluable things. My team is my safety net. It allows me to be human, and allows me to serve my clients BETTER.

We all need to have someone to back us up.

So, did I feel like a failed my business last week? Yes. Did I? No.

In fact, it showed me where I need to do better, and gave me the insight I needed to make Starke Media

the best it could be.

Don't let your hiccups slow you down, but instead allow them to open your mind, and see what needs to change or evolve to make sure you're operating at your best.

If this resonates with you, let us know. We are here to be YOUR team.

Your why is our why.

Big love,

Syd
